AI-Generated Ace Attorney Trial Bingo
I often enjoy watching AI-generated Ace Attorney trials, which take the usual Ace Attorney-related court shenanigans and have an AI write them. This results in characters who don't act like their usual selves, twists almost literally every minute and amusingly random lines of dialogue.
The rules for bingo are the same; you can feel free to rearrange the tiles as you wish. In this case, if there isn't a winner for your current AI-generated trial, you can keep going until you find one.
A1:At least one character has a completely different job from in canon, not counting prosecutors, defense attorneys and judges.
A2:A character's sprite doesn't fit their position. For example, a character's facing forward sprite might appear when at the prosecutor or defense benches, or might have a side-facing sprite from Investigations while on the witness stand.
A3:Someone confesses to the murder, but the judge ignores it, often by convicting the defendant anyway.
A4:Phoenix does the animation in which he takes a swig of coffee.
A5:The trial ends without a verdict being handed down.
B1:A canonical prosecutor serves as a defense attorney, or vice versa.
B2:A character directly contradicts what they said earlier that episode in a later line of dialogue.
B3:Someone makes an objection for no real reason, and the judge overrules it.
B4:The case is a loose adaptation of a canon case, having at least two of the following as in the case in question:
- Prosecutor
- Defendant
- Murder victim
B5:A character admits to criminal wrongdoing apart from the murder charge at the center of the case. For example, Redd White admitting to wiretapping Mia Fey's phone.
C1:The culprit in the case also committed murder in canon.
C2:The defense and/or prosecution forget which side they're on. Examples include the prosecutor claiming to be the defense, or the defense putting suspicion on the defendant.
C3:Free space
C4:An original character, or at least a character with a non-canon name serves as a witness.
C5:Phoenix puts his head into his hands in despair.
D1:An original character as a witness happens to have the same first name as a canon character.
D2: The case has at least three of the following who participated on the same case in canon:
- Defense attorney
- Cocounsel
- Detective
- At least one witness besides the defendant and the detective.
D3:The judge unfairly penalizes one of the lawyers for no good reason. To qualify, it must be something that is not a valid reason in a legal court and has never been used before in an Ace Attorney trial.
D4:Someone makes an objection for no real reason- there is not a contradiction in the evidence, nor any misconduct on the part of the opposing lawyer- and the judge sustains it.
D5:The characters abruptly change the subject while in court.
E1:Two characters have a notably different relationship than in canon.
E2:The judge spontaneously sentences someone to death.
E3:A character casually admits to criminal wrongdoing apart from murder while under oath.
E4:The case has Phoenix as the defense attorney, Edgeworth as the prosecutor and Larry as the defendant.(Incidentally, canon has had Phoenix facing Edgeworth and defending Larry, but never doing both at the same time, hence why this doesn't overlap with D2).
E5:The combination of prosecutor and defense lawyer is different than the canon combinations.
- Phoenix has gone up against all the other prosecutors at least once.
- Mia has faced Winston Payne and Miles Edgeworth in court.
- Apollo has faced Winston Payne, Klavier Gavin, Simon Blackquill and Nahyuta Sahdmadhi. He also faced Phoenix Wright in a civil trial.
- Athena has faced Winston Payne(briefly), Simon Blackquill and Nahyuta Sahdmadhi.
